Black IPO, Inc. was founded by Wendell Stemley, President & CEO in the year 2000 who is also the National President for the National Association of Minority Contractors in Washington, D.C.
Black IPO, Inc. performs comprehensive project management services which includes: monitoring quality, safety, and engineering. Black IPO, Inc. also oversee budgets, performs cost analysis, supervises subcontract awards and scope negotiations; and it's implementation of Integrated Project Optimization (IPO).
A major issue addressed in the old economy sectors of construction, utilities and engineering is the need for MWBE’s to have access to capital for implementing participation. Mr. Stemley has methodology for securing private placement equity and small capital offering as member for the small cap National Investment Banker Association.
For more than 20 years Black IPO, Inc. has served as a passionate advocate for the advancement of minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. Also advocating and developing business relationships between minority businesses and major corporate partners on mega projects. The success in developing these key business relationships between MWBE and major Corporations resulted in over a billion dollars of completed projects.
Black IPO, Inc fully supports STEM Programs throughout the nation. Mr. Stemley has been honored to be associated with many Universities, In addition to being inducted into the NAMC Hall of Fame (HOF) in 2014 and the San Diego Business Journal Diversity & Inclusion Company of the Year Award Winners in 2017.
